Dr. Dimitrova has 15 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, teens, and families in both community mental health and her private practice. She has extensive experience providing individual talk therapy to adults and play therapy to children. She also specializes in family therapy using a collaborative and relational approach. Additionally, Dr. Dimitrova specializes in psychological assessment of children and young adults. She also has expertise in facilitating groups for adults and children using a drama therapy model. Her work is informed by contemporary treatment modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and attachment based theories. In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Dimitrova is currently working as a psychological assessment psychologist at Masonic Center for Youth and Families in San Francisco.
